FAQ
How do I care for a fresh tattoo?
Fresh tattoo aftercare:
- Remove the protective film after the session.
- Wash the tattoo right away with warm water and soap.
- Pat it dry with a clean towel or napkin.
- Let the tattoo breathe for about 1 hour — do not cover it with anything.
- Apply a thin layer of BEPANTHEN+ ointment.
- When going to bed, protect the tattoo (with a cotton T-shirt or pyjamas).
- Do not pick at scabs that form — they will fall off on their own. Do not scratch. Relieve any itching by patting lightly.
- Apply a thin layer of BEPANTHEN+ ointment 3 times a day, for 10 days.
For the first week, avoid:
- Direct sunlight.
- Tanning beds.
- Any dirt.
- The sauna.
- Open water and swimming pools.
- Synthetic or woollen fabrics.

How should I prepare for my visit?
The area of skin where the tattoo will be placed must be intact. Come well-rested and after eating.
Does a tattoo hurt?
During tattooing the skin is in contact with a needle, so some irritation is felt. The intensity depends on skin condition, individual sensitivity and the area being tattooed — some spots hurt less, others more. For larger pieces, please arrive in good physical shape — they require more endurance.
What is the minimum age for a tattoo?
The minimum age in our studio is 16, provided the client comes with a parent or guardian who signs a consent form.
Is a deposit required?
Yes — a deposit is taken before every session at Angis studio.
Which body part hurts the most?
The most commonly painful spots are the ribs, palms and head — but it varies a lot from person to person.
How long does a tattoo take?
A palm-sized tattoo can usually be finished in a single day. Larger pieces take several sessions. It all depends on the design and the artist.
